About Matthias
Matthias is a coach and trainer for software engineering as well as practicing software architect, IT consultant, and Lean / Kanban expert.
He has a unique way of simply explaining complicated topics and breaking them down into small steps. In his iSAQB®-accredited courses, he teaches domain-driven design (DDD), architecture documentation (ADOK) and architecture evaluation (AWERT).
Since 2001, he has been advising software development teams who want to release reliable, high-quality software on a regular basis without having to make a heroic effort. The easier it is to maintain the system architecture, the more that independent and strategically designed teams can effectively progress in development. The addition of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) lays the groundwork for an optimized architecture, work allocation, and team formation.
He has been a member of the International Software Architecture Qualification Board (iSAQB®) since 2012 and is committed to qualifying software architects. In addition, he regularly lectures at conferences and writes for trade journals.
